Richard (Rich) Lane is the Managing Partner of Petroplus Lane, LLC. In this capacity, Mr. Lane directs all activities of the firm, including brokerage, land acquisition, planning, financing, development and project management activities. Mr. Lane also serves as a development and asset management consultant to sister companies Platinum Properties, LLC, Mermaid LLC, and Petroplus & Associates, Inc. Mr. Lane has served as a project manager and/or development consultant for over 1 million square feet of Class “A” Office, Retail, and Industrial construction projects over the past five years with an aggregate valuation of $150 million dollars. Additionally, Mr. Lane has completed brokerage assignments in excess of $30 million over the same time period. A professional urban planner by training, Mr. Lane has over 15 years experience in planning and development in both public and private sectors. Prior to forming Petroplus Lane, LLC in 2008, Mr. Lane served as Director of Brokerage for Petroplus and Associates, Inc. and Director of Development for her sister company Platinum Properties, LLC. A native of York, South Carolina, Mr. Lane earned a BA in Political Science from Winthrop University in 1993. He is member of American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), International Council on Shopping Centers (ICSC), Past Board Member - Morgantown Chamber of Commerce, West Virginia Round Table and York County, SC Regional Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lane and his wife, Dr. Amy Combs-Lane, a Clinical Psychologist faculty at WVU School of Medicine, have three children, Morgan, Garrett, and Jackson.
